Luckily and predictably, the weigh station was closed yesterday, so there was no problem delivering the load.

The photo below was actually taken in Las Vegas almost ten years ago. It begins a little mini-series of then-and-now photos from the west side of Durango Drive, between Desert Inn Road and Sahara Avenue, where my apartment was located from September 1999 to May 2000. This first photo shows the path I took on my bicycle to avoid an oncoming pedestrian on the sidewalk, as we were both approaching the bus stop.
