This Buddhist temple is just a block away from my delivery location in the Toronto area. I always liked Canada. Feel more at home here than in several states of the U.S. Canadians use different words from the English language than Americans for so many things! You see it everywhere, from road signs, to memoranda posted in warehouses, to restaurant menus, etc. Quick example: looking for the half and half pitcher this morning, what I came across instead was the "10% cream" pitcher. Don't recall seeing that in any American coffee shops lately! |
